Airports Boost Security For U.S. Flights

Airports around the world with international flights to the U.S. have completed the initial phase of putting enhanced security measures in place, as directed by the U.S. Homeland Security Department (DHS). As of midnight July 20, some 280 airports serving as the last point of departure to the U.S. met the deadline to implement security enhancements, DHS spokesman David Lapan told Aviation Daily.
